Finding Creative Commons and Public Domain Video Footage
Creative Commons on YouTube
You can search through thousands of Creative Commons videos posted on YouTube to find just what you need. Simply go to http://www.youtube.com and do a search for a topic of interest. After the initial results come back, look just above the search box for the Filters link. Click that and under Features, choose Creative Commons. That will narrow your search to only those videos that hold Creative Commons licenses.
